Fast Scanning Mobile Application

Our Fast Scanning Mobile Application is designed to enhance inventory management for ERPNext users by leveraging advanced scanning features available in select Android devices like Zebra, which come with built-in fast scanning sensors.

This application enables users to quickly create stock entries, purchase receipts, and delivery notes simply by scanning items, reducing manual data entry and improving efficiency. The scanned data is instantly sent to the server, ensuring seamless integration with ERPNext. Additionally, it is fully compatible with our Container Reconciliation feature, further simplifying bulk inventory handling.

To enhance usability, the application provides real-time item details during stock movements, receipts, or issuances, helping staff verify items easily. While optimized for Android devices with scanning sensors, it also supports manual scanning via camera, making it accessible on a wider range of devices, including iOS.

This tool is available as an open-source project and can be installed via GitHub, as part of our contribution to the Frappe ecosystem. It is a fast, reliable, and flexible solution for businesses looking to improve stock handling and inventory accuracy with minimal effort.
